Unable to import audio files into animation

I'm sort of new to adobe animate, and I recorded some audio using Windows Voice Recorder, and then converted it into an mp3 file using iTunes. When I tried to import the audio into the library, it says that it couldn't import the file. I've tried finding the solution, but I haven't had any luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Try importing the WAV files instead of the MP3s. MP3 is usually a bad choice.

When I converted them to WAV and tried to import them it said "One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them." What should I do?
