Unable to move anchor points

I converted my characters parts into symbold but when I try to move the anchor point it moves the whole shape, any idea how to fix?

You should be able to just select the symbol and use the free transform tool to move the anchor point. Is that the issue? Id so I would say there is an issue with the software and you should do an uninstall and reinstall.

If you are trying to edit shapes with the Subselect Tool (A) you have to enter the symbol for editing first. (Double-click to enter.) Then you will be able to select the anchor points and move them.
