Uncorrupt a recovered file?

I have a recovered file but it shows when i open it, that a error has occurred is their a way to fix it?

    Another thing to try is, with the file still open, select and copy ALL frames and layers. Create a new document, paste all frames and layers and save with new name.

    you might.

    rename a copied fla to a rar, open in winrar and repair.  rename the repaired rar to a fla and try to open. 

    that usually fails, but sometimes works.
