Video Import Error

Question

Okay Ive got this project im redoing, I did it easly about a year ago. Its a simple proces, and it begins by importing a video form my phone into Animate for playback only. However I keep getting an error. I know a .mov file cant be used for this, so I converted it to an H.264 viedo using Adobe Media Converter. Ive tried so many differnet setting for the convertion, but all of them give me errors? Now for the technical details.

Im on Mac,

OS Version 10.15.7

Procceser 2.3 GHz Quad-Core intel Core i7

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics intel HD Graphics 4000 1636 MB

Am I experancing this error due to my computer being out of date? Or is there another reason? I'd appersate any advice or help.

Thanks, it is importing fine on my end but I'm on Windows so not sure if it's a Mac specific problem. There was a bug affecting mac users a few versions ago but I've not seen reports on v.23.0.2. https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/kb/fixed-issues.html

Regardless try installing an older version to see if it changes anything or reinstall your current one.
