Warp Asset Tool keeps converting the layers to less than 1500 pixels

I'm using Adobe Animate and it whenever I use a layer (even when I'm cropping it down and shrinking it) it keeps converting to to less than 1500 pixels making the layer look blurry and low res

is there any way to solve this?

If this is a vector drawing you can go to Edit > Preferences > Drawing > Asset Warp Tool and uncheck "Auto convert vector to bitmap" to stop Animate from converting it into an image.

 

If you're using it on an imported bitmap then it will downscale it to 1500 px or less, no matter what, to save on performance.

    you can't use the asset warp tool on a layer. 

     

    do you mean, in a particular layer/frame you select everything on-stage and apply the warp tool?
