WAV file import issue in Animate 23.0.2 on Mac?

Is anyone else having issue with importing WAV files (the 'file could not be read' import error)? 

I went back, opened version 21.0.12 and the same WAV file imported fine. And the FLA I created with it opens and plays fine in 23.0.2 so it's just an import issue.

      Still on 10.15.7 which could be an issue at this point.
