I’m currently learning Adobe Animate and want to improve my character animation skills. I’m especially interested in making movements such as walking, running, and simple gestures look smooth and natural. What techniques, tools, or workflow would you recommend for achieving better character movement in Animate?

For smoother character animation, focus on timing and spacing first. Using keyframes carefully, adding a few in-between frames, and applying easing can make movements feel much more natural. I also recommend practicing simple actions like walking or turning before moving on to more complex animations.

@Impressive_Light3285  What do you find more difficult in Adobe Animate: creating smooth character movements or getting the timing and spacing right?

For me, getting the timing and spacing right is more difficult. The movements become much smoother once I understand how to adjust the timing between keyframes.
