what is the point in making FLASH games installable?

You can play them offline. You can distribute them on a CD. You can (via a
wrapper) enable OS level interaction.

Are you saying they do them installable just for fun? In this case I agree
there is no reason for them not to be installable.
With this question I am getting at adantages or additional functionalities
one might get with installable flash games.
