What's the difference between Air 4.0 and Air 13?

Anyone know whats going on here? Is AIR 4 and AIR 13 the same thing?

I understand that there has been an update to Flash player to version 13 but I'm getting conflicting messages/information. One one page it says:

When you click the link that says "Download Adobe AIR 4 beta" it shows as Air 13 with the following link: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html

I understand the difference between the two. Is AIR 4.0 sometimes refered to as AIR 13? http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html

no.  the beta's have their own naming sequence.  if, and when, a beta goes live it will be renamed inline with the current naming conventions.  ie, air beta version 14 might be renamed air version 4.1

The title on the page says "AIR 13". Shouldn't it say "AIR 4.0" and "Flash player 13."

no.  you're looking at the beta page.  if you look for the latest release versions, at this time, you will find version 4.

here's info about the relationshop of flash players and adobe air,  http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplatform/whitepapers/roadmap.html

here are the archived air versions showing their naming sequence, http://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/archived-air-sdk-version.html
