Hi guys,

Is there a keyboard shortcut for Mac that I can use to create a new key frame?

That would be really helpful and save me a lot of time while I animate.

Thanks.

On Mac, and I think on Windows, you can choose whether the function keys do what apps want them to do, or what macOS wants them to do. To make the key do the opposite action you hold down the fn key, which is how I work. So, to make a new key frame I hold the fn key and press F6.

If you want the reverse behavior, you can change that in system preferences, keyboard, keyboard tab. Then look for the use F1, F2 as standard function keys.
