Question

When I draw with my pen, sometimes a stroke becomes MANY even if paths don't cross.

When drawing with my pen I get extra strokes even if I haven't lifted my pen. Here's an example showing how 4 strokes without lifting the pen actually are 10 strokes. Is it me?

Hi mate,

 

Try different smoothing settings to see if this will give you more satisfactory results.

 

Personally, I have given up on the attempts to use the drawing tools for clean up. 

Instead I start with a straight line and modify it with the Selection or Subselection Tools.
