why doesn't frame picker stay open while I am going through frames

recently I have been trying to do lip sync at a faster pace but when I scrub to a further part of the timeline framepicker decides to disappear until i select the symbol again, is there anyway to work around this?

    yes. click on the little pin in the top right-hand corner of the frame picker.

    This will lock to the symbol you selected.
