Why doesn’t my camera work???

I finished an animation and when it came down to working with my camera, anytime I set it up and go to check my progress it doesn't work. It still shows everything in the stage even when it's supposed to be zoomed in. It's only works when I zoom in extremely or zoom out extremely.
