Why doesn´t work the Animate CC Team and the Character Animator Team together?

Hi Adobe,

i am working with Flash/Animate for years. I really like the vector base program - no render time!

I am drawing and animating a complete 2D Series in Animate.

The Character Animator looks very amazing, but why doesn´t work the program together with Animate?

Its the same Company, right? The same topic? Its 2D Animation....Why Illustrator CC and not Animate CC?

I don´t understand it.

Kind Regards

JP

Character Animator uses different technology. It uses your microphone and camera to capture audio and video in real time to produce real time animation. Animate CC requires that you draw and/or import your artwork to animate with. Animate CC has been around since the 1990's in various incarnations (Future Splash, Flash). Character Animator is a very new program.
Not saying they could be integrated into one program but each program has it's own demographic. As much as I love CA, I prefer AnCC because my work requires more design oriented motion graphics. Whatever character animation I do, CA does not offer me the tools necessary to execute what I need to.

thanks Keyframer! its more the question to Adobe why the separate those teams. Image you could prepare your character in AnCC and use it in CA. Why do i have to use Illustrator to draw my characters? For me it would be much easier when i could prepare the character in AnCC and import the Character Structure in CA, I could be prepare those loop animation to for using it in CA and put it on keys - but i did the animation in AnCC. Why should i use a program like illustrator where i am not able to animate the vectors? I don´t understand why they don´t integrate it to CA. I prepare my swf in AnCC and import it to AE to add some effects. It would be nice if i could do the lipsync and acting in CA for some shots. But this is so complicated just because CA ignores AnCC... Sorry but i can not understand it because the result of both programs is the same - a 2D animation.

Mohanaraj I wonder if JP would be useful in giving direct feedback about such features, and to be able to see what is being worked on?
