Audio Latency Appearing After Latest Audition Beta Update

Hi everyone,

I’m noticing some audio latency in Audition Beta after the most recent update and wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing something similar. Before updating, everything was working normally, but now there is a noticeable delay when recording through my usual MME input device. The audio seems to play back slightly behind real time, and even existing sessions feel a bit out of sync during monitoring. When I switch to ASIO, everything works correctly, which makes me think the issue is specifically related to MME handling in the newest build.

I’ve already restarted the app, tested with different microphones, and tried changing various audio settings, but the delay continues as long as MME is selected. Since audio timing is important for the work I do, especially when recording voice-overs and syncing speech to video, I’m trying to understand whether this is a known issue or a potential regression introduced in the latest update.

If anyone else has experienced this or found a workaround, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts. I’m also curious if rolling back to an earlier Beta build would help, or if this is something that might be addressed in an upcoming patch.
