Audition M1 Beta Memory Pressure

I've been working with Activity Monitor running so I can keep an eye on what's going on and I've noticed that when ripple deleting in multi-track the memory pressure on my system sometimes increases precipitously. Opening the Beta and letting it idle I was sitting in the 2-4 Gb memory usage range, for some ripple deletes the usage jumps to 24 Gb, which is more than my computer has.

For context, int he file I'm working on I've got 6 tracks each with a 3 hr long wav file (each file is about 1.3 Gb).
