ACR add-on via jsx scripting or plugin?

Can we make additions to ACR using jsx scripting or plugins? We would like to add Pentax Pixel Shift ability to ACR.

Need to be able to work on raw DNG files.

I don't believe ACR has the ability to be scripted - at least with extendscript.

You seemed to leave scripting open just not Extendscript. Am I trying to hard for a positive answer?

I'm almost positive that you can't script ACR with extendscript, but I'm unsure of other forms of scripting. I really don't think it's possible with anything, other than changing the actual source code for ACR.
