ACR failing to read .xmp files

Hi everybody.

I hope you can help me.

I've encountered a problem/bug with ACR.

I´m working with all my photo library on external hard disks. I recently reinstalled my O.S. Everything works perfect, however, I found that neither Bridge nor ACR display the changes on previously modified .NEF files. These images were working correctly on my previous install.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

Many thanks in advance.

Bridge 7.0.0.93

Camera RAW 9.10.1.750

Downloaded with Creative Cloud App 4.0.1.188

Mac OS X 10.10.5

    Correct answer Bo Bee

    UPDATE:

Turns out that the external HDD's were formatted in NTFS and the driver I was using (PARAGON NTFS FOR MAC) needed an update altogether with a blind try on updating to MAC OS SIERRA

CONCLUSION: WATCH YOUR WRITING/READING PERMISSIONS IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS READING .XMP WITH ACR (HFS+/NTFS)
