ACR: Mask shifted during batch synchronization

Hello Adobe Team,

In a series of identical tripod shots, a manually created mask does not synchronize correctly.

When I copy the mask to a single image, it is positioned correctly. When I synchronize it to multiple images simultaneously, the mask appears shifted—even though the camera, subject, framing, and image dimensions remain unchanged.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks - Michael

The issue occurs only when both Masking and Lens Corrections are enabled during synchronization. The mask is positioned correctly when copied without Lens Corrections.

It therefore appears that enabling Lens Corrections causes the mask to shift. Camera Raw seems unable to apply the lens correction and the mask together correctly during batch synchronization.

Hi @michaelt89449532, Thanks for reaching out to the ACR Community Forum. Could you try to synchronize the masks with Lens Corrections disabled? That will help us confirm if the issue is related to a conflict between the mask and lens correction settings. Also, please make sure that Adobe Camera Raw is updated to the latest version, as updates may contain fixes for synchronization issues. Let us know how it goes, and we will continue to troubleshoot! ^CH

The synchronization settings were configured to copy and overwrite all available adjustments, including the masking settings.
