ACR merge to panorama results in prior merged image

Sonoma 14.4.1 / Photoshop 25.6.0 / ACR 16.2

Scanning images and then merging in ACR into single large page. First went normally Second time pulled up the merged image from the first time. Terminating PS and remerging resulted in the first image again.
