ACR. user profiles

In Adobe Camera Raw, one of my first jobs is to go to the 'Optics' section and enable user profiles for the lens I have used .... I cannot think of a situation where I would not want to use these..... SO , is it possible to have them permanently 'ON" rather than have to do it for every picture ...... please dont talk tooo techy 🙂
