Activeren camera RAW

Camera Raw is used from Lightroom when one invokes the Edit in Photoshop command. For this to work, Photoshop and ACR must be on version parity. So if you had an older or newer version of PhotoShop or Lightroom Classic, LR will pop an error telling you it must render the image, not ACR. Is this what you're referring to? 

Why can't I get camera RAM activated in a legal version of Lighroom 6. ( CD version)

Lightroom doesn't use the Camera Raw plugin, since Camera Raw is an integral part of the application.

The plugin is for Photoshop and Bridge only.

If you need a newer version of Camera Raw than Lightroom 6 offers, you have to subscribe to the Photography plan, which includes the latest versions of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

Alternatively, you can use the free Adobe DNG converter, which will convert your raw files to DNG files that can be imported in Lightroom 6. Read the instructions carefully.
