Adjustment brush to dodge and burn for whole series and not seperate pictures?

Im not sure how to explain this but in versions before, when i had to edit a whole series of pictures (like a play i photographed or a wedding), i didnt have to select the brush and set it for EVERY picture like i have to do now... If i want to do the same dodging or burning to say 200 pictures with the same darkening or lightening to that series of pictures but with every mask different and move from picture to picture without having to activate and set the dodging or burning, how do i do that? Or do i have to select the brush and effect EVERY time? Its so tiresome...

I can press "K" and select the effect for the brush but i dont want to do that for every picture if a have to edit a whole lot of pictures...

If anyone understands this question please help me... I dont know how to better explain this...

Perhaps you mean this:

Scroll right down to the bottom of the masking panel and uncheck the box "Reset sliders automatically"

Your settings will then be retained as you move from image to image.

Thats brilliant, thanks!

Its not exactly what i wanted because i now still have to press K to make the adjustment active but its one HUGE step in making editing faster and easier (im a 20 year RSI patient with the problem almost always under control so i want my clicks minimised as much as possible) as it was in former versions!

You hit the right spot, thank you!
