Question

Adobe Camera Raw: masks, typing two-digit numbers won't work

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open raw image in Adobe Camera Raw
  2. Select masking (M)
  3. Create new mask of any type
  4. Attempt to type a two-digit value anywhere (e.g.: set sharpness to 15)

What happens at this point is you type "1" followed by "5" and you end up with a value of 5, not 15. It accepts only 1 digit numbers, replacing any previous values when typing additional digits. If needed, I can make a screen video of this bug.

Mac, ACR ver 14.4.0.1121

Does anyone know the last stable version of this?

Hi!

Unfortunately I am having the same issue since quite a while. Mac (Ventura 13.7.6), Photoshop 26.9.0, ACR 17.4.1.2280. I am also not able to type in more than one digit. This behavior only occurs in the masking panel. No idea how to get rid of this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx!

Like Rikk, I can't replicate this on my side either on macOS.

Might need to also check your System Preferences/Keyboard settings.

I cannot replicate this behavior with your instructions.
I suspect you have a machine-specific issue. Perhaps resetting your preferences would help?
