Adobe Camera Raw radial gradient filter not working properly

Radial Gradient not working in latest Adobe Camera Raw (ver 14.3.0.1072) on Windows 10 OS.  I open a Cannon CR2 file with ACR, attempt to use the radial gradient feature, and program crashes.  I was expecting the gradient to allow sizing the adjustment area, but it does not.

Try resetting your ACR preferences, better?
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (MacOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"

    These instructions worked when I followed them from within Adobe Bridge, but not Photoshop.
