Adobe Camera Raw still has an issue that shows a black preview for the Enhance feature

I noticed some posts on this issue from some time ago, but it is still not fixed. I was happily using the Enhance feature earlier today and it was working fine. Suddenly, however, I get nothing but a black preview. If I output it anyway it does output the file correctly, but I want a preview to see if I should make adjustments to the file before outputting.

I'm on a 14" Macbook Pro, M1 Max

Using as separate displays. I wish Bridge/ACR would play nicer with this setup, though I can work things out now anyway, but I put this down to MacOS that, in my opinion, has very poor window management. Have never liked it.

I'm running a non M1 Macbook, with dual displays, no issues on this end. Do you have the displays mirroring or as individual displays (I'm using the latter).

Replying to my own post . . .

Apparently this is an issue with using dual displays. Somehow the way displays are managed and then seen by Bridge and ACR is causing the weird issue. If I am careful to open Bridge, then ACR on either one display or the other, and then stay on that display, the preview works correclty.

Sorry for the false alarm. Hopefully it's helpful to someone someday.
