Real World Camera Raw is excellent, if you want something slightly more up to date you can try the book The Digital Negative — by the same Jeff Schewe who wrote the Real World Camera Raw books. It discusses a raw photo workflow in the context of Camera Raw and Lightroom, which share the same raw processing engine.

The reason Jeff’s name keeps coming up is that he is close to the Camera Raw/Photoshop/Lightroom teams and has influenced the development of the software.

Here is a link that has a couple of different editions of a book by Jeff Schewe, Real World Camera Raw. One of them is an update for a later version Photoshop, but I believe much of the information is the same. I have one of the books. It is very detailed, and explains the raw process very well. Camera Raw has been upgraded several times since the book was released, but thee basic concept of raw and how it works hasn't changed. I still occasionally turn to my book for bits of information. Consider or not, it's up to you.

A bit outdated in some respects, I'd look for Real World Camera Raw (Schewe and Fraser), much  of it still applies.
