After upgrade reverting back from 16-bit to 8-bit

Hej Adobe!

 

After each upgrade the CameraRAW import reverts back to 8-bit import into Photoshop. I then manually set it to 16-bit, and that works, until the next upgrade when it reverts back to 8-bit. CameraRAW manages to remember my colour profile between upgrades, but the bitdepth-setting is reset to the old default.

    Updates for the Adobe Photography Products have been released.  The October 2023 updates contain a fix for this issue. 

    If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

    Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.
