Auto correct within Adobe Camera Raw

I use PS for hundreds of real estate phtoograhs a day.  In the past, the auto correct button within ACR was the go-to button to either correct the image pretty well, or at least give me a good starting point for further corrections.  In the latest edition of PS, the AUTO button drops the highlights to zero and increases shadow detail almost all the way, making a cartoon-ish image. 

In other words, I can't rely on auto as a baseline anymore.  Anyone else running into this?

    No issues here, latest update applied, seems to work well on a variety of images.  Perhaps you could post a before and after example?  For reference I'm using a W10 system.
