Brightness slider

14.4 version is missing Brightness slider. Is this because of similarities with Exposure slider, hence the removal.

The Brightness slider was part of the older tool set. To see it again, you have to revert the Process Version of the image to PV2 or earlier using the Calibration panel. 

It is a very course control compared to the toolset available in PV3 and later.

And as Rikk implies, it was a mess and none of us wants to go back to that... 😉
