Camera raw 13 update created enormous problems

Today I realised that being on high Sierra that my creative cloud software updates would no longer be compatible, thats fine as i havent found time to update my system IOS yet. What was very annoying and fundamentally wrong was tat CC let me update camera raw to 13 which clearly isnt supported in anything pre Mojave either. as a result on a busy day camera raw became remove from my ps so that i couldnt open any jpg files at all!! As I was working on an urgent project at the time I didnt have time to resolve the issue and had alot of grief and stress put upon me by CC's update process. After much searching and reading is how i found out that camera raw was the issue. If you provide updates that are not compatible you need to flag that they are not for Raw as well as the standrad adobe suite. Its not been a good day and although i would always endorse the CC platform today it let me down badly

@lafragette, I'm having the same problem. I also have a deadline and cannot open Raw files or JPG. It appears that Mac High Sierra is not compatible with Camera Raw v. 13 and CC does not allow the uninstall to previous versions (unless someone else out there chimes in and corrects me.) There was no prior warning which makes Adobe appear to be negilgent in customer service. Jeez.
