Camera Raw 14.2 healing brush lagging

Hello,

 

I am having a problem with camera raw in latest photoshop since camera raw 14. I have brush and masks act slow and freeze. I had it in camera raw 14, then the same in 14.1 and was hoping it will be fixed in 14.2 version but the bug is still there. When I am using healing brush as a circle its working ok, when I mark a longer line its starting to freeze and move slowly, about 5 seconds or so until I can move the healing brush to select where to clone. With masks kind of better but still it freezes from time to time and I need to wait about 5 to 10 sec while its selecting the area.

 

Working on : 

 

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)

4,2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Radeon Pro 580 8 GB

500 GB Flash Storage with write speeds at around 2000mbs and read speed at 2400mbs

Mac OS Monterey 12.2 

I suppose this kind of computer should run camera raw without issues. Could you help me please with this?

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about the trouble with Adobe Camera Raw. We're here to help.

What type of file are you working on? Is it happening with RAW files or jpegs as well? Did it start happening after CameraRaw 14, update? Did you try re-installing the application?
Reset ACR preferences:
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw 

Relaunch the application.

Actually just tested now with apple mouse and YES everything works fine, I just got used to steelseries mouse as it is more precise. But currently tested with both mouses on and when using still series it lags, when apple mouse its not. I am using steelseries for a couple of years already, so anyway it has something with adobe compatibility after ACR 14 update, as I didn't experience it with earlier ACR versions.
