Camera Raw 16.2 Details/Sharpening?

Hi,

 

Is there a way to permanently turn down the opacity to 0 Sharpening under the Details tab in Camera Raw 16.2? It reverts to 24 on every image and it would be one less step to have it remain at 0 for my purposes.

Looks like you need to change your default setting to zero.

Create a preset with zero sharpening (and other default settings you require) then use your preset as the default.

    Ahhh, thanks for this. After reading your reply I found an interesting article on the default settings of Picture Control which explained  why this was showing up in the first place. Thanks very much for your help.
