Camera Raw 16 UI closes basic

I have just purchased Elements 2024 and installed Camera Raw 16.0. Now every time that Camera Raw opens I have to click the Basic option to make adjustments to my image. I have never had to do this in previous versions of this software as the drop down list was always displayed.

There does not seem to be a way to force the Basic drop down list to be permanently displayed, which it always was in previous versions.

Clicking the Help button is useless as it just opens an error page.
