Camera Raw 18.4: does Select Subject require an Internet connection?

Hi,Camera Raw 18.4 includes improved subject selection for masking. On my system, Masking > Select Subject works normally even when I disable the Internet connection.However, after publishing a video about the update, two users on my YouTube channel reported that, since Camera Raw 18.4, they cannot use Select Subject unless they are connected to the Internet.Is Camera Raw 18.4 supposed to run Select Subject locally, or can it require cloud processing depending on some setting, host application, license status, GPU/model availability, or other condition?I’m trying to determine whether these reports describe expected behavior, a configuration/licensing issue, or a possible bug.Thanks.

A few days have passed and, as far as I know, no one else has reported this issue. So, although receiving more than one report initially made me wonder, I’m inclined to think it was either a user-side issue or something specific to those installations, perhaps a missing component or a similar problem.

The users who reported the issue have not provided any further details since then, so I think this can be considered closed.
