Question

Camera Raw

Hi. I just updated my iMac to Big Sur and updated my LR and Photoshop, but I am having issues with Camera Raw now. When I open a handful of images to batch edit, it no longer shows the selected images- only one at a time. My entire screen is blacked out besides the image, too. I can no longer see what I am doing as far as photo adjustments. In my Creative Cloud, it says Camera Raw is up to date but I have no idea what is happening. I attached an image of my screen to show what is happening. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

First, try disabling GPU in the preferences (Preformance tab). Any better?

If not, recalibrate and build a new ICC display profile, the old one might be corrupted.

If you are using software/hardware for this task, be sure the software is set to build a matrix not LUT profile, Version 2 not Version 4 profile.

If turning OFF GPU works, it's a GPU bug and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it.

I just tried going through Preferences and the pop up is blacked out, too! I'll attach a screenshot to show what it does. I'm not very tech savy so I don't really know what everything else means haha.

That shows your version of ACR as 11.4 which is really old: what version of Photoshop are you running?

Maybe get the latest version below and install:
