We are sorry about the issues you are facing with Camera Raw since the macOS Catalina update.

There are a few known issues with Photoshop and Camera Raw since the macOS Catalina update and our product teams are working on fixing them. We currently do not have a timeline on when a release would be rolled out with fixes to all the issues.

Adobe never announces updates in advance. Typically, Camera Raw is updated about four times each year. The last time it was updated was 9/11/19. So you can estimate as well as I can when the next update might be. Whether or not that update will fix any problems with Catalina remains to be seen.
