Camera Raw applying changes made to all duplicate files

Question

My new Camera Raw 17.1 is automatically applying any changes I make to one file to a duplicate sitting in Adobe Bridge. I created the duplicate to do something different with, which I have always been able to do. How can I correct this?

Mac OS Sequoia 15.2. Photoshop 2025. New computer and big jump for me in Photoshop/Bridge etc. Trying to resolve quite a few changes I don't like!

Update. Don't know what was happening, but just trying it again with several different untouched raw files, (duplicating then making adjustments to one of them) and the problem seems to have gone away. Fingers crossed. It was very disconcerting!
