Camera RAW crashed suddenly on Macbook pro, returning into Bridge loosing all modifications

Hi,

I work on Camera RAW (version 14.3.0.1072) since Adobe Bridge opening version 12.0.1.246  (DNG files taken from my Mavic3 Cine).

My computer is a macbook pro with a M1 Max Chipset and on MacOS 12.4 Monterey.

Tonight, The app crashed suddenly during modifying colorimetry on many pictures (15 DNG files). At the beginning I thought my trackpad was responsable of that because the pointer suddenly went at the bottom left of the screen, then camera raw window diseappeared and let me returning into Bridge.

Then I understood I lost near 2 hours or my working time...

Not the first time. The problem doesn't come from the trackpad because when you cancel into Camera Raw, the app ask you if you want to keep or not the modifications...

If someone has some solutions for this, I'll be happy to learn it. For the moment I think I return to LightRoom hoping no crash this time....

Thanks for your understanding and hope I m not the one did this happen to.

Adding to thedigitaldog...

The key here is holding down the command key when choosing Camera Raw in the preferences so you get the "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?" option.

Try resetting your ACR preferences, better?
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (MacOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"
