camera raw crop

This is a problem with the crop function of camera raw.
In my case, I don't recognize the width and height of the image and it crops vertically or crops horizontally.
In previous versions, cropping was done by recognizing the width and height of the image.
In the new version, you can't crop or compare multiple photos in either horizontal or vertical format at once.
There is also no way to delete crops once they are set.
The older version is much easier to use.
Am I setting something wrong?

No, I don't think you can have it recognize the height and width of the image - at this time. You can cropt multiple images, as my screen shot shows. You can also reset crops by selecting the crop tool and hitting delete, or use the context menu (right click) and select, "Set to Original Crop."

Can you explain how to do a vertical crop of the above example.  Previously I could rotate the crop box from horizontal to vertical to turn a section of a horizontal shot into a vertical?  Rotating the image doesn't help.

Right click to get the contextual menu. Or you can press "X".
