Camera Raw for Photoshop 6.0

Downloaded CameraRaw_9_1_1.zip.  Installed.  Still getting error msg in 6.0 saying file format not supported.  Help???

CS2 was version 9, so you must have upgraded to CS6, which was version 13.

To find out what version you are running, go to Help > About Photoshop and tell us what version it says.

If you have installed version 6.0 (not CS6), it doesn't support raw files at all.

Photoshop 6 or CS6. Big difference there for sure.

Which camera are your Raw files from?

If your camera was only supported by a version of Camera Raw later than 9.1.1 then even updating to 9.1.1 won't help.

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

If that's the case then you'll have to use the free DNG converter.

My original installation was CS2 running on Win 7.  I then upgraded to 6.0.  the camera is Nikon D70.  loading Raw (NEF) files worked fine.  Computer died and was replaced with one running Win10.  I installed 6.0, not CS2.  I have downloaded and installed CameraRaw_9_1_1 and Adobe DNG.  Still cannot open NEF files.
