Camera Raw Freezing/Locking up PS

Since the most recent updates for PS my camera raw functions have become unusable. Not sure why suddenly when I open it, edit a photo and click "OK" the app locks up and must be closed via task manager. The layer goes blank on the right side as well. Ive tried previous versions of both CR and PS with no solution. 😞

Try resetting your ACR preferences, better?
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (MacOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"
