Camera raw mask issue

If I copy a camera raw smart filters with subject masks in it to a new file, in order to copy editings, when I try to create new mask with the new subject to apply the edits, it always recreate the old masks from the source file:

then, when i try to generate a new mask on the target file using the filter copied form the source I always get this:

this is very annoying as it slows my workflow with huge amount of photo.

Can you fix it as it was in the old PS version? TY.
