Camera Raw not launching when selecting "Open in Camera Raw" from Br & PS

Question

Camera Raw not launching when selecting "Open in Camera Raw" for RAW & Jpeg files from Adobe Bridge. Same issue in Photoshop when selecting "Camera Raw Filter ... " Bridge freezes during the launch, but unfreezes when pressing the ESC key. Camera Raw does launch at times but returns to not launching soon there after.

No error report given. All apps up to date with latest version.

Solution:

Close Bridge and open Photoshop.

From the menu list, click "Edit" and then click "Preferences"

Hold the CTRL key and while holding CTRL key, click "Camera Raw" in the preferences list.

A pop up will appear to delete the camera raw preferences, click "Yes" and click "OK" on the following pop-up.

Try to use camera raw from Photoshop and then try Bridge
