Question

Camera RAW preset does not apply

Hello,

I just upgraded to PS 24.0 ... Camera RAW 15.0.

I created a Camera RAW preset and saved it under "Save Settings" - also under "Create Preset"

on the right side of Camera RAW under the three dots.

I also confirmed the same preset is set under Bridge > Camera RAW Preferences > RAW Defaults > Global

It is also visible when opening RAW settings from the bottom of Camera RAW.

Whenever I open a new / fresh DNG image the preset is not applied ... all sliders are on 0

Please help!

Hello,

Update ...

I just seem to have solved the issue.

To relly check if a preset works (with every opening of a new DNG) you can't use a DNG that has been edited  before (at least I think it'll show the previous settings)

It also does not work if you chose at the right "Reset to default"

If you don't have an untouched/fresh DNG handy, you can use any DNG, but right-click the thumbnail and chose "Develp Settings" > "Reset Settings". That will clear every previous editing.

When you open this one you can nowfor sure tell if your preset is applied.

The preset also must be saved at the right under "Create Preset" ... not just "Save Settings"

Thanks ... case closed
