Camera RAW "There was an unexpected error and your request could not be completed.”
I’m reaching out to the community for assistance with an issue in Adobe Camera Raw that keeps recurring.
Quite often, when I attempt to create a mask, I receive the following error message:
“There was an unexpected error and your request could not be completed.”
Immediately afterwards, a second message appears:
“The graphics processor has encountered an unrecoverable error. Due to a run‑time error, GPU acceleration has been disabled for the remainder of the session.”
This behaviour is now happening frequently, and it interrupts my workflow every time masking is required. If anyone could point me toward reliable guidance, known fixes, or relevant Adobe documentation, I would be very grateful.
