I have purchased a Canon 80D and find that it requires Camera Raw 9.5 for the files generated. Photoshop 6 only seems to update to version 9.1.1.
Does anyone know when higher level updates are going to be supported in Photoshop 6 or what is another solution?
Camera Raw 9.1.1 is the last version of the plug-in that will be compatible with Photoshop CS6. That version of Photoshop is no longer being updated. If you want to continue using it the best option is to download the latest DNG converter and convert your CR2 and files to the DNG format. Then you will be able to open them in Camera Raw 9.1.1. Otherwise, your choices would be to subscribe to the Creative Cloud, or purchase Photoshop Elements or Lightroom 6 or some other program that will enable you to open your CR2 files.
