Why can't I erase in bridge? When I click on the red icon where I want to erase, my cursor just shows up as a "zoom" items and I can't erase anything.

Moved to the Camera Raw forum.

@JoannaJensen , try to delete ACR's prefrerences:

  1. Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
  2. Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?

That's the Camera Raw window you are showing not Bridge.

Your cursor is defaulting to the zoom tool.

Try Ctrl + 1 to get quickly to the Basic Panel - see if that unsticks you!

Can you explain fully what it is you are trying to delete?

Thank you but unfortunately that doesn't work either.

Every time I go to use the 'brush" tool in bridge it's either on zoom or it has the hand.  I can't figure this out!!!

If I go to erase something and zoom in and out, I cannot erase anything anymore.  It wont let me.

It's my cursor that is stuck on zoom. I can't unclick it.

Erase or delete?

If you wish to erase something from an image you'd need to open that image up in Photoshop and do any of the many ways to remove something from an image. Bridge has no ability to "erase" a part of an image.

If you wish to delete an image, select it (by clicking once on it) and go to the top right corner and click on the trash can icon marked in red in this screenshot but there will be no red around it on your copy of Bridge.

Hi, I am not sure to understand, are you trying to remove a red label from an image?
