Can't open .rwl files with camera raw.

Trying to open some old files from a Leica Dlux 4 that have the .rwl file type.  Thos used to work.  Photoshop CC and Camera Raw are both up to date.  Error message says Photoshop does not recognize this type of file.

    CR does not need to be up to date for these files, the camera has been supported for more than 10 years. Rule out the possibility that the files are corrupted by trying to open them with an analytical application like Rawdigger.
