Question

Can't scroll down in ACR to see all sections for image processing.

I mainly prefer to use Bridge, Photosho, and ACR for photography (over Lightroom) however this bug has been an issue for months now and quite annoying. Basically, I simply can't scroll down do see all sections like Detail and Optics. If I minimize all sections then click to open Calibration, I can only see Red Primary, and can't scroll down to green. It doesn't matter if I am in full screen or window mode, and even in Masking, the same scrolling issue happens. In Masking, if I have Light and Color and Effects expanded, it doesn't show me all of the Effects section.

I am on a PC with Windows 11 and have 3 monitors, dual side by side and a small monitor below. Not sure if that is the reason for the glitch, but even if I open ACR in the small lower monitor it still doesn't scroll down enough, as you can see in this screenshot (below).

Again, this has been happening for months now and not yet fixed. It is quite annoying, and so I have been using Lightroom instead for many projects.

Have you tried Compact Mode?

  • When viewing Camera Raw, select Preferences > General > Use compact layout to view more options on screen at one time.

Smart thinking, but just tried that and although it makes things smaller, it still is not letting me scroll down to all the content. I'll have to try removing my third monitor, rebooting, and seeing if having a monitor above or below matters. Kinda need this monitor for working, so ehh.

This is not really a fix, but you can choose what panels to display, and also the order in which they appear, so it might be used as a workaround.

Right click one of the panel headers, then choose Edit panels to show.

Guess once again I'll never find my answer, lol.

Now I just wait for an update and hope it does something. Or ditch ACR and stick with Lightroom where I can actually scroll.

Try resetting the Camera Raw preferences.

In Photoshop, go to Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw. Click Camera Raw with the Control key pressed.

Click Yes in the dialog that follows.

Worth a shot, but didn't change the scrolling issue. 😞

I am still learning all of this. However, I had lunch with a friend who had a professional photographer visiting  so I took the opportunity to ask him about your issue.  He said that depending on how “high end” our displays are windows 11 will support a “Continuous” display capability.  He said this meant that the top half of a web site or application can appear on one screen and the bottom half on a second screen.  Let me know if this works and good luck.
